Biography:

  • I am a  Chartered Physiotherapist and full member of the Irish society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

  • I qualified from Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and worked in the NHS and private sector for 16 years progressing to senior and superintendant status.

  • I have published articles in the Uk Physiotherapy Journal on the role of Physiotherapy following back surgery and was involved in research into the use of lasers in Physiotherapy.

  • I have worked in hospitals of Orthopaedic excellence, treating patients following back, knee, shoulder and other surgeries.

  • I moved to Ireland in 2005, further trained as a Pilates Instructor and taught classes at beginner and intermediate levels and for women during and after pregnancy.

  • I teach Anatomy and Physiology and have been involved in the training of candidates on the Gym Instructors Diploma Course.

  • For the last 3 years I have been working at Physio4u, Oranmore.

  • I look forward to continuing to provide expert and professional assessment and treatments, at the highest possible standards, for the local community and surrounding locality now that I have moved to Cara Physiotherapy and Healthcare.
